Impact Nations Australia works among some of the very poorest most needy people in the world – these are people trying to survive in garbage dumps, in shanty towns, urban slums, and on sidewalks.

We are aiding and assisting men, women and children who are suffering the effects of long term hunger where death by starvation is a constant threat.

Their greatest need is simply to have something to eat.

Impact Nations Australia, alongside Impact Nations International, is committed to working with poor communities, developing strategies for sustainable transformation.

However, the first step is often providing meals while longer term strategies can be developed. Depending on the country we are working with – $1.00 can provide as many as 5 meals.

In my time with Impact Nations I have been in all the places described above where we have provided food and nutrition to these most needy people. Each one is special with hopes and dreams for a better future for themselves and their families. Each one has a story of hardship that has brought them to this place and for so many it is from no fault of their own.
Not everybody gets to go but we all have an opportunity to give.
