Project Complete! Thank you to all of our generous donors. Between Impact Nations and Randeep’s churches in India, we were able to provide over $40,000 in relief, including hundreds of water filters!
SEPTEMBER, 2019- THIS IS WHAT FAMILY IS FOR!
“The 2019 Indian floods were a series of floods that affected over thirteen states due to incessant rains. At least 400 people died and about a million people were displaced.” Masses were found themselves homeless overnight.
But you, the Impact Nations Family, responded. New Life City Church in Chandigarh recently wrote to say thank you for your support. By your help, they were able to distribute 237 water filters along with food and tarps.
Thank you to everyone in the Impact Nations Family who joined in this effort! You can read the full report here.
The support poured out by the Impact Nations family is bringing clean water and food to unreahed communities affected by the Punjab flood. The need is overwhelming but your gifts are opening doors for Randeep’s church across Punjab, India.
Original Project Proposal:
With floods washing across India and Nepal, our partner Randeep Matthews from the NLC Church Foundation in Chandigarh, India will be sending a team as early as next week to provide clothing and food to the families who have lost their homes to the water.
A second team will follow just a few weeks later with medicine to provide care for the injuries and illness which arise from the tragic floods.
Randeep is trying to raise $30,000 to serve 1000 people with clean water, food and medicine, and he needs your help. You can bring hope to an individual for only $30.
The time is now! Water doesn’t wait to ruin lives and we must leap to their aid. You can provide the desperately needed clothes, food, and medicine. Your gift will enable both teams to hit the ground as the hands and feet of Jesus. Will you wash these communities with His loving care?
“Now in these days prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. And one of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the world (this took place in the days of Claudius). So the disciples determined, every one according to his ability, to send relief to the brothers living in Judea. And they did so, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.” -Acts 11:27-30
