Our History
Impact Nations Australia has been in my heart since 2009 when I first travelled with Impact Nations International (INI). Since then I have been on almost 20 such journeys with INI into nations such as the Philippines, Cambodia, India, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Haiti. I have participated in and have seen first hand the work that they do in developing nations through sustainable projects, hunger relief, medical services, education, farming, business development and clean water.
Impact Nations International ministry formally began in 2005, being founded by Steve and Christina Stewart of Vancouver, Canada.
INI has helped the poor start businesses, opened sewing schools for women at risk, and created a bio-sand water filter business that provides employment and distributes clean water to thousands.
They have also purchased three farms in Uganda, provided water tanks to schools and communities, and sent people to Africa and Haiti to teach agriculture, bio-intensive gardening, health education and sound financial practices. Schools have been constructed in Haiti and Uganda.
In 2013 INI began a long-term community transformation in Kalonga, Uganda. The goal is to see this community of 25,000 changed educationally, economically, and in their physical health. We are already well on our way to providing every resident with access to clean drinking water. A farm has been purchased which will not only provide a daily meal to over 300 students, but will also provide income to pay teachers at the Hope and Care school. A new school building and a training centre for young men and women to learn employable skills has been completed.
There are times and situations where, before a development plan can be created, we first need to come alongside the people with relief efforts. This has taken INI to a number of nations, including Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, the Philippines after the 2013 typhoon disaster, Nepal after the 2015 earthquake and Puerto Rico after the 2017 hurricane. In these and other situations we have been able to provide hundreds of thousands of people with clean water and meals.
We are proud to partner with INI and look forward to participating in projects such as these, established both locally and internationally, funded from Australia, working with and alongside this like-minded organisation.

Our Vision
Long term sustainability for individuals and communities in developing nations.
Impact Nations Australia exists to relieve poverty, hunger, suffering, helplessness, distress and misfortune of people either in Australia or in developing nations where suffering humanity exists.
Our Convictions
We are a Christ Centred Organisation. All that we do is an expression of our love and commitment to Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to provide the help needed to move both individuals and communities into long-term sustainability, not dependence upon any outside source.
We understand justice to be the restoration of life as God intended. This leads us to the oppressed and disempowered of the developing world.
